Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-05-07

Location: Punta Tosca

Weather: Beautiful, sunny day, 14 kts NW winds, a bit of a choppy sea, ocean is 75F, air here is 70F, visibility average 80FT

Status: 18.46.65N – 111.03.01W anchored in 110Ft

The dives so far have been good. Lots of fish, a few stingrays, hammerheads, and loads of silkies. Dolphins have been around since we anchored here. This morning they were after the flying fish just few yards from the boat. We are hoping they show up in the dives. The highlight of the day was the mating turtles drifting with the surface current and the silkies on stern. There is at least 8 of them and guests are all excited, already talking about the silky snorkel for tonight, the current is mild and not a problem for the divers. Toys are in the water already some of them did some paddling….
