Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-05-14

Location: Anchored at Cabo Pearce Socorro Island.

Weather: N wind 15 knots, powerful S groundswell 4-5′, and sunny skies. 70 degree water, 45′ visibility, surge and S current.

We finished the day yesterday in the Cuevitas area with great visibility and 3 playful mantas… all around an excellent day of diving. Today the diving has been poor to awesome depending on which group you were in. The visibility is not great, but the we had mantas and a large school of hammerheads. The last group of the last dive had dolphins playing with a manta. Huge smiles, “best dive ever.” We are going to do one more dive before heading to the Navy.
