Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-05-17

Location: Anchored at Roca Partida

Weather: partly sunny skies, N wind 10-13 knots, NW windswell 3-5′. 75 degree water 100’+ visibility and light current.

We finished the day off yesterday with an excellent wine and cheese party on the top deck. The sea is much calmer today and the diving much better. On the first dive we had tons of sharks: Galapagos, Silver tips, Silkies, a school of Hammerheads and feeding white tips. The tunas are everywhere today: huge schools of Bonito and small Yellowfin with small groups of large Yellowfin and Wahoo patrolling the edges. The second dive was more of the same.
