Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-05-26

Location: San Benedicto South
Status: Anchored
Weather: Winds: 10/15NW / Waves: calm on the bay / Water Temp: 23 degrees / Visibility: 25 meters

Our first dive day started in “el Fondeadero” to do the check dive. In this dive the visibility was great and divers could see a couple of big mantas, silvertips… and we were already left to imagine how the dives were going to be in the Canyon. The second dive was at El Canyon and has been incredible! Divers were able to see a school of hammerheads of about 50 specimens, small group of dolphins, a pair of Galapagos, silvertips, whitetips and two mantas in the distance. There was also a group of tuna there. Some guests describe that diving as 10 points!
