Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-05-28

Location: Anchored at the Canyon San Benedicto Island
Weather: W wind 20 knots, mostly cloudy skies, S swell 3-4’, W swell 2’

We finished the day yesterday at Cabo Pearce. While the dive site was windy the bay stayed calm and we enjoyed a wine and cheese party on the sundeck. Departing at 0100 we made our way towards San Benedicto. This morning we checked the boiler and it was way too rough so we are sharing the Canyon with the NUS. Since we are third we just started our 2nd dive. Fortunately, the first dive was perfect. Dolphins, Mantas, and lots and lots of sharks including some very curious hammerheads. “Best dive of the trip” was heard among the guests.
