Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-06-13

Location: Anchored at the Boiler San Benedicto Island
Weather: Sunny Skies, 74 degree water, light current to the north, and 80-100′ visibility

We finished the day yesterday at Roca with more of the same. Good dives, but nothing particularly special. Today, however, has been amazing. By far the best diving we have had all month. The first dive the dolphins showed up towards the end of the dive and only the last group had a great show, but there were 3 very friendly mantas. The second dive was nonstop action: Dolphins for everyone with 7 or 8 mantas mixed in. Divers didn’t even know where to look. What about the hammerheads just below them? 40-50 minutes of pure fun. Smiles were huge. One diver said to me “I can die now,” I kindly asked him to just wait a few more days please.
