Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2019-07-31

Location: Lat 29 08.60N Long 118 17.09W.
Weather: Clear sunny sky. Vis 80-90 ft, water temp 20-21 C. Mild current from the E.
Status: At anchor at Guadalupe Island in 245 ft depth

Yesterday we had and excellent day, the afternoon was great, we saw 8-10 different sharks in the whole day. El Diablo and Kenric were among those. At some point I could count 6 different sharks at surface from the sun deck. All guests were impressed with the shark action. Today has been great as well, 4 Identified sharks today, Joker, Kenrick Rhett and El Diablo, plus other ones that we have not identified yet. Submersible action has been great, they could count 6 different sharks in one dive and on surface action has been great with sharks attempting to take the bait from wrangles. Todays visibility has been milky the first 2 meters but after that it’s clear. Water temp below on submersible 20C and at surface 21C.
