Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-08-07

Location: Anchored at Guadalupe Island in front of the Monkey’s face in 250′ of water .18nm from shore.

Weather: light wind and current, calm seas, and 65 degree water with 100’+ visibility

Yesterday the action definitely picked up and we had a few great moments with sharks coming way out of the water and sometimes as many as 4 sharks around at once. During Shark ID we identified the Joker, Sgt. Peppers, Jenny, Andy, Maxwell, Mike, and Luca Arnone. We finished the day off with Trivia night and Chase the Ace. Today the Sun is out with light wind and current, calm seas, and 65 degree water with 100’+ visibility. The action has been slow this morning, but there have been a few sharks around. Mostly they have stayed deeper and have been uninterested. In the last hour Andy has showed up along with two more sharks and the action has heated up. We are getting ready to depart for Ensenada this afternoon. All guests and crew are doing great.
