Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-08-15

Location: 12nm from shore swinging over 200′ of water
Weather: Sunny skies, light southeast wind and 1-2′ N wind bump. Light current heading to the north, 60′ visibility and 69 degree water.
Status: Anchored at Guadalupe Island

Today has been a great first day. The first shark showed up before the bait even hit the water. Since then we have had 2-4 sharks around the boat chasing the bait, numerous breaches and generally great action both topsides and below. We definitely have had Andy and Luca Arnone visit this morning.
