Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-09-14

Location: Guadalupe Island
Weather: Light winds and variable, calm seas. Temperature 21C, visibility 100+ feet
Status: Anchored near the sweet spot.

After a much more tranquil ride than last trips ride out, we arrived to Guadalupe last night at 19:00 and anchored just north of the sweet spot. The cages went in the water quickly, and most of the guests watched the operation as per usual. This morning we had two sharks rather early on; one being Neptune. Then it died down. We have had some attacks on the tuna, but not much. There for about 1 hour, there were no sharks seen at the surface or the submersible. It is just now beginning to pick up again.
