Captain’s Noon Report – Gallant Lady – 2019-09-17

Location: Danzante
Weather: Calm waters, no wind.
Status: Anchored at Danzante.

Over night we drifted in flat calm waters from nearby the port of Loreto and arrived at Danzante at 07:00. This Morning the water was like a mirror, not a breath of wind! All the Crew and Passengers including myself thought it was a simply stunning area of natural beauty. Again guests were having their morning coffee in their favorite spots on the boat. The first dive was at the southern point of Danzante. The second dive is taking place now at a sunken Mexican Navy Minesweeper. It took a while to find it but a lot of the guests got involved on the bridge in helping. I had one guest on the chart and another on the depth sounder, and of course Captain Phil on the Bow directing the operation. We sent Juan-David down and we finally found the wreck reported at 18.3m deep. Taco night last night was great. Guests were overwhelmed by the standard of the food and loved eating on the top deck with the Loreto skyline in the background.
