Captain’s Noon Report -Explorer – 2019-09-19

Location: Lat N 29 07.58 Long W 118 16.97
Weather: Sunny sky. We have some breeze from the NE. 240 ft deep, 0.138 NM from shore.
Status: Guadalupe Island

Today we start slow with one shark around 0700 circling the bait, nothing in the deep cages. After 0900 everything changes, one big female giving us a great show attack after attack and we have two juveniles females and one juvenile male really fast, taking the bait without warning. All the divers are really crazy today we are having a perfect Guadalupe day. Today is better than the last two days, we have a very good visibility over 110 ft, the water today is between 18 and 19 degrees. Nice happy ending for this trip, the cherry on the top. Hopefully the action keeps going same way the rest of the day.
