We arrived at Las Animas at 7:15 this morning. Dive 1 was at the pinnacles of Las Animas. There was a thermocline at 70ft where the water temperature dropped to 80ᵒF. There was a school of juvenile Trivalli Jacks, a few Bonita fish and some King Angel Fish. The guests absolutely loved the first dive here. The second dive was at the caves of Las Animas on the NE side. Plenty of Cortez Stingrays, Torpedo Rays & Sea Turtles. Also a school of pacific Creel Fish. Lots of guests complimenting the dive site. Later this afternoon we will be diving with the local sealions. Some of the guests are mega excited about that.
