Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-10-29

Location: 29.08.75N – 118.17.03W
Weather: A beautiful day, the sun is out, light NW breeze, 120 ft visibility, water temperature 67F
Status: anchored at Guadalupe Island in 250Ft of water

Today started slow as far as the shark action but then it picked up! On my first dive this morning, I did not see a single shark but on the second dive there were five different sharks coming around and even stealing the baits! The guests are happy and we are happy. Today water is nice and clear, I can see the anchor chain, so that’s at lest 120 feet visibility. The water temperature is 67F and the air temperature is 70F.
