Captains Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-11-26

Location: 19° 17.7’ N / 110° 48.7’ San Benedicto Island, “The Canyon”

Weather: Wind: ENE 8-12 kts, Seas: ENE 4-6 ft. Overcast sky five minutes of rain in the morning.

Today we start with the first dive at 0730 in the canyon, good dive, visibility was around 80 ft, temperature 80 F, strong current to the W. Our divers saw some black tips, a galapago, some silver tips, a hammerhead and one chevron manta. The second dive was better, same visibility and temperature but now the current is going to the E, all the divers saw in this dive a lot of dolphins and at least two groups saw a school of hammerheads. All guests and crew are doing great.
