Dive Report, Nautilus Explorer

This is my first trip this Socorro season and I couldn’t be happier to be back!!
The sea is calm and the sun is shining and the water nice and warm!!
We have a full boat with a fun mix of guests from all over the world: Brazil, France, USA and Italy! The atmosphere is relaxed and filled with anticipation for a trip of a lifetime!!
And the first day did not disappoint!! On our check dive we already had 5 playful mantas with us nearly the whole time with numerous stingrays, electric rays and white tip sharks hanging out on the sandy patches at el Fundeadero.
For the second part of the day we went to el Canion: my personal favorite and it we saw EVERYTHING!! Numerous free swimming Hammeread sharks and even a school of at least 20 cruising together, the family of Silvertips is still all over the cleaning station and Galapagos sharks were mixing in with them, some were at least 3 meters long. There was even sightings of at least 2 different Tiger sharks. It was amazing!! The cherry on top were the 2 friendly chevron mantas joining us for our safety stop,
It’s been an unforgettable day and the bar is set high for the next few days!!
We are now searching for the Whale shark and dolphins to complete the list and hopefully we will find them tomorrow at Cabo Pearce!!
I’ve got a very good feeling about the upcoming diving days 🙂
