Captain’s Noon Reports – Undersea – 2020-01-15

Location: Canyon, San Benedicto

Status: Winds NW 8-10, Seas NW 3-5, Vis 50 ft, Water Temp 25c

Good dives this morning with three mantas dancing around the guests on the first then the second dive was quiet until the last 15 minutes of the dive there was a huge chevron manta playing with all the guests. We saw our first humpback of the season yesterday at Roca. As we were leaving Roca we saw the whale lift it’s mighty tail out of the water several times and repeatedly smack the surface creating a big splash over and over. This morning at the Boiler we had another humpback breaching after the dive and most guests were able to see the leviathan leap out of the water.
