Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2020-03-05

Location: Roca Partida
Weather: Beautiful day with sunny skies, Winds NE 5-8 knots, Swell WNW 5-9′, Visibility 80’+, Water Temperature 72 F
Status: At Roca Partida today

We finished yesterday with 2 more dives at Punta Tosca. The last dive was good with a couple of playful mantas in the inner bay. The silky snorkel was fun with 5 or 6 silkies around. We arrived at Roca at 0600 this morning and started to dive at 0700. The first two dives have been ok. On the second dive, one group encountered false killer whales underwater so they were very excited! Some hammerheads were spotted away from the rock, a manta and a big school of bonitos were seen cruising around as well.
