Captain’s Noon Report- Belle Amie – 2020-03-08

Location:18.59.49N – 112.04.99W

Status:anchored in 140Ft of water

Weather:Visibility 75Ft, temperature 74F,

Day is been cloudy for the most part and the sun is fighting to get thru the clouds once in a while. Sun rays make it thru and it feels like turning on the flood lights. The diving has been good maybe not exciting but good. Couple of mantas have shown to the dive site, plenty of sharks just to quite the number we all love to have and see. The balconies are full of white tip reef sharks, visibility today is a lot better than the previous two days and we have a very nice day at sea. Almost no waves and the swell is has a long period and it may be two feet or so. Wind is almost non existing, but the highlight of today's activities has been the HUMPBACK WHALES, they are everywhere! It' just that they don't come to the dive site but they come really close to the boat and keep showing their fluke as they plunge into the deep.
