Arrived at San Benedicto Island this morning. The sound of the anchor dropping is our wakeup call. Very calm anchorage, with beautiful views of the volcanic formations and cliffs. All four dives are done at “The Canyon” dive site. Plenty of fish, shark, and giant manta ray activity during each dive. We enjoy sightings of Scalloped Hammerhead Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Silky Sharks, White Tip Sharks and a Tiger Shark. Giant Manta Rays pass near us and appear to be as curious of us as we are of them. Dolphins were seen at the surface. The captain and crew treat us to another day of excellent service and food. Tonight’s celebratory meal includes wine and cheese, barbecued beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, veggies, and rice pudding for dessert. With mixed emotions, our dive gear is set out for drying as we prepare for the trip back to Cabo San Lucas.
