Location: North end Isla Cerralvo enroute to divesite La Reyna.
Weather: Wind is around 10-15kts from the SSE with a 3-4′ swell
Status: although at the moment we are in the lee of the island and it’s very calm, sunny and warm
We arrived at Roca Montana at 1000 this morning after a smooth and uneventful crossing overnight. We did the checkout dive there which was successful although conditions were poor. Viz was very low with the bottom being stirred up by the swell rolling in from the south. Planning to do 2 dives at La Reyna this afternoon. Boarding last night went smoothly and the mood onboard has been really good, with everyone excited to get back in the water. Still adjusting to the new Covid procedures but that is also going pretty well, guests are doing great. After La Reyna we’ll probably head north overnight to Las Animas and spend a full day there tomorrow.
