Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-01

Location: San Pedro Martir
Weather: Hot, Clear sky, Wind S 10-15 knots, Water Temperature 85 F, Visibility 25 m, Current moderate

We had a great day yesterday at Bahia with an afternoon of successful whale shark snorkeling for all, a late afternoon dive, and a night dive, all of which were enjoyed by the guests. We have done 2 dives here so far today and they’ve been really good with great conditions. The sea lions are playful and there are lots of fishes around. We are going to head for the North end of Isla Coronado off Loreto where we had some great mobula encounters last week. We’ll have an eta of 1130 there tomorrow morning and we will be able to do 3 day-dives plus (hopefully a mobula) night dive.
