Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-15

Location: Espiritu Santo
Weather: Water Temperature 25 C, Swell W 0.5 m, Visibility good, Seas calm
Status: At Los Islotes

Yesterday we finished our first day with dive 2 and 3 on the southern tip of Espiritu Santo. We dived at the wreck which was really nice and we had a few sea lions that came and played with us. We could also spot a few turtles and one diver spotted the largest scorpionfish he had ever seen! Today we stopped at Fang Ming, on the west coast of Espiritu Santo, and did our first dive there. The divers saw some turtles and a few octopuses. We then continued up north and dived the second dive of the day at Los Islotes. It was just amazing with good visibility, a lot of fish, and a beautiful underwater arch. A couple of our guests said it was the best dive ever! We are going to stay here for the rest of the day and do dive 3 and 4 around Los Islotes and later this evening we will set a course down to Cabo Pulmo.
