Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-17

Location: Cabo Pulmo, La Reyna

Status: Visibility 65 ft, water temperature 82 degrees F

We finished the two last dives in Cabo Pulmo yesterday afternoon, The guests saw a Bullshark, which was just amazing, and big eye jacks and very big grouper. Visibility was around 20m and water temperature approx 28 degrees Celsius. We stayed at the anchor position until it was time to departure at 22:00. The wind pick up a little bit late afternoon but during the evening it calmed down again. We ran the whole night and drop anchor at La Reyna this morning just before 07:00. The guests were quickly in the water for the first dive and it was maybe not as much fishes but there were sea lions playing, a couple of turtles and so on. Visibility 15-20 meters and the temperature was at 28 degrees Celsius. Second dive was more or less the same but with less current than the first dive. The plan is after La Reyna we are going to San Francisco and do 4 dives in that area tomorrow.
