Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2020-09-23

Location: Espiritu Santos & Sawanee Reef

Weather: Very warm with clear sky and calm seas

Yesterday the wind picked up a little bit but it was nice to have a cool breeze for once. Yesterday we did the last two dives at La Reyna as well. Dive number 4 was a night dive and it was amazing. Visibility more than 30 m and approximate 27 degrees in the water. Because we were late from the night dive I decided to drift during the night so our guests could have a good night sleep and would not be disturbed by the noise when dropping the anchor. First dive for today was a Salvatiera ship wreck south of Espiritu Santos. It was a very good dive and the guests came back happy. They spotted a couple of octopuses as well and it was a good dive. Dive number 2 for today was at Sawanee Reef and just like the first dive it was wonderful. Plenty of life and perfect place for some macro photo. During the afternoon we are going to dive at Fang Ming before we go up to the north tip of Espiritu Santos to be ready for the dives tomorrow. All guests and crew are doing great!
