Sea of Cortez weeklong expedition on the nautilus explorer

We have just finished our first day of diving in the Sea of Cortez of this weeklong expedition on the nautilus explorer.
Today we stayed at Cerralvo island doing a check dive in the south of the island and spending the rest of the day at the famous La Reina dive site in the north of Cerralvo. The water was very clear and warm, 29 degrees Celcius, rash guard diving!!
We spent some time swimming around the sunken shipwreck and basically the whole second dive observing a family of 4 sea lions swimming around us and posing for the cameras. They are by far the most entertaining and interacting sea creatures! So much fun!
Let’s see what tomorrow brings us! We are headed to Espiritu Santo island.
