We are so excited! We are at Las Animas diving in perfect conditions: good visibility and warm water, but most important there is so many fish! We dove a sea mountain next to la Lobera with hundreds of barber fish at the cleaning stations. On the east side of the island, at Los Morros we saw big schools of trevallis and deeper we went we saw a school of at least 40 big almaco jacks! In the afternoon, we visited the cave and crossed the sand channel into the north pinnacle and bingo! We saw a school of well-fed hammerheads!! I’m so grateful sharks are returning and staying in the Sea of Cortez! It makes me happy that our divers can see the sharks and will tell the world how exciting it is to dive here so more divers will come to enjoy and participate in the conservation of this incredible place
