Captain’s Noon Report – Undersea – 2020-11-25

Location: El Canyon ; Lat N 19°17,8´, Long W 110°48.5´

Status: 55 ft deep, 2.5 shots in the water, light breeze from the ENE, swell 2-4 ft E.

Weather: Sunny day with some cumulus, water 28 C, visibility 60-70ft

Nice dives on the Boiler yesterday – 3 chevron mantas and one black manta and a lot of white tip sharks. Second dive yesterday divers saw two chevron mantas, one hammerhead and one octopus. No we are in the Canyon having an amazing day! First dive here light current to the W, visibility around 60-70 ft, temperature 28°C. It’s hammerhead paradise! Lots and lots of hammerheads, one juvenile male tiger shark, one black manta and two chevron mantas. Second dive we continued with lots of hammerheads, one black manta and one chevron manta, galapagos and silver tips on the receiver and six super playful dolphins. Last dive day and the canyon is giving us a special show.
