Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-11-28

Location: El Canyon. 19-17.7N 110-48.63

Status: Winds ENE @12-15knts, Seas 2-3′ wrap around, skies scattered cumulus. Visibility 80′ and water temperature around 82 F

We awoke this morning to great conditions and the Canyon to ourselves. The divers found calm clear and warm waters, no current, visibility around 80 ft and water temperature around 82F on the first dive this morning. The site is pretty mellow, divers had sightings of hammerheads, galapagos and silvertips and at least one black manta. Great first dive. The second dive had the usual critters, with the black manta staying near the cleaning stations throughout the dive. One group had a glimpse of a tiger shark too. Divers are happy!
