Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-11-29

Location: Approx. 150 miles south of Cabo

Status: Transit toward San Benedicto

Sea conditions were great overnight and this morning, with very little remnant of the wave train we experienced on our recent northbound transit. We passed a mild night and awoke to an even milder morning. I spotted some whales around 1000 and we were able to slow to steerage and get a pretty close look. A group of 3 or four blue whales, with two surfacing about 200m from the ship. Most guests got a good look and then had some dolphins sightings shortly after. Good way to start the trip.
