Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2020-12-01

Location: Boiler, El Canyon ; 19-19.68N 110-48-86W

Status: Winds NW @5knts, Seas NW @2-4′. Long gentle swell.

We completed two more dives at the canyon yesterday afternoon, with water temperatures still a warm 82F and current was mostly mild. All divers saw hammerheads, galapagos, silvertips, and at least two tiger sharks, one of which was an adult female who came quite close to the groups on their safety stops. All divers were happy with their day of diving and looking forward to more. We to the Boiler, and the dives this morning at the boiler have been pretty mellow with minimal current, visibility around 80 ft and water temperature around 80F. There were multiple sightings of at least three mantas.
