Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2021-02-12

Location: Vessel at anchor in Cabo Pearce

This morning we had gray sky with plenty of vertically developing clouds but now sky is almost clear, just a few patches up there, strong wind from north gusting to 18 kts, water temperature was 24°c and viz 20 mts s.a mild current from south to north and opposite during second dive. In dive 1 guests got to see a few dolphins and one hammer head but at the end of this dive a humpback whale come out just a few meters ahead from where I was recovering the divers and we saw it from the skiff. Dive number 2 was a little slow too but again they see a few dolphins and 1 manta in the distance and another hammerhead. Guests are very happy. Our plan is to continue here the rest of the day and have dinner at anchor, after dinner we will head to San Benedicto. All guests & crew are doing great.
