Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2021-03-08

Location: Vessel at anchor in Roca Partida, Position 18°59.587′ N 112°04.923 ‘W 250 ft depth

Weather: Some patches of cirrucumulus clouds,N wind 4-10 kts, water temperature 23°C

We arrived to Roca Partida at 0600, there was and there is the Nautilus Explorer here at Roca. Today it has been a really nice day, the weather is good for Roca, the first dive was kind of slow around 2 mantas and different school of jacks in the south point of the rock. Than we had around 8 hammerheads sharks and some Galapagos sharks for the 2nd dive was so much better because there were around 3 mantas ,1 black mantas and 2 chevron hanging around us also big school of bonitas,2 big tunas (really Big!!!),some galapagos and silvertips sharks. Current visibility: 60ft, water temp: 24°C.
