Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2021-03-10

Location: Vessel at anchor in Cabo Pearce, Position 18°46.392′ N 110°54.563 ‘W 183 ft depth

Weather: clear sky,N wind 8-14 kts, water temperature 23°C

This has been a very nice day, the wind is kind of strong but the diving is good. In the morning we had strong current from the N, visibility: 18 m. The marine life we were diving with chevron mantas, black mantas and we could hear whales singing around the dive site, for the 2nd dive. We saw 2 dolphins but not all the dive and we also saw mantas who were a little more friendly than the 1st dive. There was a very cool octopus. Our guest, came out of the water super happy. So far this is one of the most beautiful touching comments that I have heard before. She came out and told us “I did not expect to hear whales singing because I have problems with my ears I use digital hearing aids, but I could hear the whales singing! I am so happy!!!” she was telling us with a big smile on her face. She said that this was something beautiful. I can not describe what I felt when she told us this. I think it was something truly magical. visibility: 18m, water temp: 23°C.
