Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2021-03-17

Location: Vessel at anchor in Roca Partida Ships position lat N 18°59.546´, long W 112°04.871´

Weather: Clear sky, winds: N 8-12 kts, seas: NW 4-6 ft.

The last dive yesterday at Cabo Pearce was nice, some mantas and hammerheads around us but current start getting strong and visibility was around 30 ft so after that we picked up the anchor and we went to Vargas Lozano bay to do the navy checks and finished the day at Punta Tosca with our silky snorkel which was good. We had a good time and after the activity our host Favi was waiting for us with hot chocolate with baileys and some teas, our guests really enjoyed this activity. Now we are anchor at Roca Partida we arrived at 0600, 1st dive was good, there were a lot of sharks all over the dive site, Galapagos, silver tips sharks, white tips sharks, some big tuna. The visibility was around 40 ft with light current from the S, and for the 2nd dive the visibility was insane, around 70 ft ! Juan told me that he could see the bottom, still we had many sharks ,they stole the show. All guests and crew doing great.
