Surrounded by a School of Hammerhead Sharks

After 6 years of exploration around Revillagigedo Islands, it has become very interesting to see the amount of hammerhead sharks increasing as well as their behaviour. From being very timid and scared of our bubbles, it is now evident that these animals have started to become docile and even playful around scuba divers.

Today, on our first dive, we found ourselves surrounded by a school of hammerhead sharks and we just cruised right through them. It was magnificent.
