Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-03-26

Location: Roca Partida

Gorgeous morning here at Roca Partida wind coming NW with 3-5 Kts and swell around 4-6 ft. Clouded sky but warm sensation. 285 ft of water below us and 4.5 shackles of chain in the water. After the navy check-in we headed to Punta Tosca and did the silky snorkel. In our first dive we skiffed we dropped divers at the eastern part of Roca Partida it was a good dive. Guests encountered White tips, Galapagos sharks and some tunas. In the second dive, we skiffed and dropped divers at the further east side of Roca Partida. There was not much current, divers got to see tunas, jacks, white tips and a few Silvertips. Water temperature was around 22 C Viz was good from 50-60 Ft.
