Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-04-06

Beautiful morning at sea. NW breeze of around 2-4 kts which increased to 5-8 kts as the day got older. Swell from the same direction started 2-4 ft and increased to 3-5 ft just as the wind did. Underway using the engine to Cabo San Lucas. Lat. N 20*21′.136 Long. W 110*30′.780. We skiffed our third dive yesterday and dropped divers at the northern side of The Boiler Rock. It was a great dive – Chevron mantas stayed for a while and some galapagos were around as well. After the second dive, we picked up the anchor and headed to The Canyon due to weather conditions. We decided to go and try Manta Highway for our last dive of the trip. And the fourth dive was great, 4 Chevron Mantas and some hammerheads showed up! Guests were happy! We were able to get them a good last dive on this trip. We picked up the anchor at 0400 and headed out to Cabo San Lucas.
