Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2021-04-09

Location; Roca Partida

Vessel at anchor in Roca Partida Ships position lat N 18°59.619´, long W 112°04.831´. Clear sky, winds: Light air N 2-4 kts, seas: NW 1-2 ft. Almost like a mirror. Yesterday we finish the day diving at the boiler, which was pretty good! On the 3rd one, we had 2 mantas playing around with our guests and some black tips sharks. Visibility: 60 ft, water temp: 22°C, and for the last dive we had a school of hammerheads for the rest of the dive. Visibility:50 ft, water temp:23C°. After the dive, we had our famous and delicious taco night! More delicious than famous by the way. Today we arrived at Roca Partida at 0600. What a beautiful morning and such a first dive! We had a whale shark, hanging around the rock during the dive, also Galapagos sharks and some hammerheads sharks. Water temp:22°C, and for the 2nd dive which was pretty mellow but beautiful it was full of bonitas fish, jack fish, big tuna and some silver tips. Water temps: 23°C visibility was around 60 ft. Such a beautiful day, the sea is perfect.
