Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2021-04-20

Location: Roca Partida

Beautiful day here at Roca Partida. Light to variable winds, 3-4ft long period ground swell, around 76 degrees and nearly glassy ocean surface. The first dive had large schools of hammerheads, and some say sharkiest dive of the trip. With schooling Galapagos and Silver tips. Tons of big Tuna, and of course the Jacks. The second dive did not disappoint, with more hammerheads that guests said were more active, as well as Galapagos and Silvers. Visibility around 20 meters, with current increasing from North to South on the second dive. Planning on wrapping up this fantastic trip here, and having a sunset wine & cheese on the sundeck. Will depart from Roca this evening en route for Los Cabos.
