Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2021-05-25

Location: Anchored at San Benedicto (The Boiler)

Status: 106 Ft of water below the keel and 3 shackles of chain out in the water.

Gorgeous morning at San Benedico. Clear blue sky with Northwestern wind of 6-8 Kts and 4-6 Ft os swell with 10 seconds of period in between swell. wind decreased to 3-5 Kts as the day got older. And swell is slowly decreasing too. Our first dive we skiffed and dropped divers at the northern side of The Boiler Rock, divers encountered 1 Chevron Manta, 1 Black Manta, dolphins and usual reef fish. The second dive we skiffed and dropped divers at northeastern side of The Boiler Rock, divers encountered, a tiger shark, 2 Mantas one of them was a female of very good size and a turtle. All guests are happy and crew are doing great.
