Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2021-06-18

Location: Anchored at San Benedicto

Weather: Overcast and NW Wind (12kts)

Last night we had our silky snorkel at night which was very good.

There was a pod of dolphins waiting for the guests on their checkout dive. The dolphins were very friendly and playful and during the dive, our guests saw lots of sharks – whitetip sharks, silvertip sharks and a few big Galapagos sharks. There were also lobsters, lots of reef fish and a chevron manta ray.

On the second dive, there was a pod of dolphins with a baby, two manta rays (both chevron and black) that were playing with our guest and plenty of sharks at the cleaning station. A black manta ray followed one of the groups too.

Water Temperature: 25°C
