This week of diving in the islands of Revillagigedo has been absolutely spectacular. Our guests were lucky to have had some incredible encounters with the marine animals that call the Socorro Islands their home. On one of our dives, we saw a pod of 17 adult dolphins with three baby dolphins, two whale sharks circling Roca Partida and a bait ball of skipjacks being chased by silky sharks and Galapagos sharks.
We also had giant manta rays throughout the week who were either playing with the divers or being cleaned by reef fish such as the beautiful clarion angelfish. Their bright orange color contrasts beautifully against the black manta rays making for a wonderful photo opportunity.
Roca Partida also gave us the gigantic yellowfin tuna and massive lobsters that would hang out with the sleeping whitetip reef sharks. In Cabo Pearce, we witnessed at least 50 schooling hammerhead sharks.
