Day two on the Belle Amie was the stuff of legends! The shark sightings started at 0630 and continued all day until dive operations stopped! We had a large male going back and forth between the two baits for over six minutes! The excitement reached a fever pitch when a large shark took the bait at the surface and wildly thrashed its tail around and soaked Captain Shep, while he was shark wrangling. My final submerged dive was 30 minutes of pure excitement. The shark was hitting the bait, diving into the depths and then rocketing back up from the depts to hit the bait. I have been beyond impressed with Captain Shep and his crew. James, Mirko, Pedro, Annie Xavier and the deck crew were amazing during all of the chaos. Faviola, Alice and Jenny kept us fed and warm with amazing food, hot chocolate and coffee. I can’t wait for day three!!

Wow day two on the Nautilus Belle Amie was insane. We saw at least one shark every hour starting at 6:30AM. One of the coolest days of my life. The sharks are awesome, but the crew makes it 100 times better. They are there for anything you need, so accommodating, and so much fun. Seriously cannot say enough good things about this trip.

My life is now complete! The most sharky, fabulous day EVER! I didn’t think it could get any better after I saw my first great white shark this morning, but then…they kept coming…and coming…SO MANY sharks, SO close to the cage, but so graceful and controlled. I can’t wait until tomorrow!

We just had the most amazing day onboard the Nautilus Belle Amie today!! So many close encounters with great whites! The crew made our day even more perfect with all their special attention. It was definitely above all expectations and I am so grateful to be here in Guadalupe Island.
