Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2021-08-04

Location: Guadalupe Island

Weather: Swell (1-3ft), Wind (10kts), N Current and Clear Sky

We completed our transit and arrived at anchor around 20:30pm last night and the crew got cages in the water and everything prepped for the morning by about 22:00pm. It was a nice calm night at anchor. Action started slow this morning, with no sightings for the first hour and a half, but by the time we were opening the submersible cages, we had two sharks making constant passes at the bait. Those same two have been with us all day so far, making very close passes by all cages and frequent attacks on the bait. All of the guests have seen a shark already today and everybody is thrilled.

Visibility: 100-140ft
