Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2021-08-02

Location: Anchored at Las Animas

Weather: Clear Sky, Calm Seas and SW Wind (2-4kts)

Beautiful morning at Las Animas with comfortable, warm weather. On our first dive of the day, we skiffed and dropped divers at the eastern side of Las Animas where divers encountered a school of sierras, sea lions, morenas, and several other reef fish. For our second dive we skiffed and dropped divers at the northern side of Las Animas where there were sea lions who were very playful this time. Divers had an amazing time with them.

Water Temperature: 28°C

Visibility: 25-30ft
