Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2021-08-20

Location: Guadalupe Island

Weather: Overcast, Light Wind and SW Swell (1-2ft)

Yesterday afternoon was just as great as yesterday morning. We had too many sharks to count. All guests got up close and personal views from both the submersible and surface cages. It was about as perfect as it gets here at Guadalupe. In the evening Divemaster Ivan did a Shark ID presentation with the guests and we were able to ID two of the many we were seeing.

This morning we have had action since the very beginning of the day. Lots of attacks on the bait with some breaches too. Lots of close passes by the cages, surface and submersible. It was overcast when we first woke up but the sun is coming out now for the first time this trip. Absolutely perfect final day on location.

Visibility: 150ft+

Water Temperature: 71°F
