Captain’s Noon Reports – UnderSea – 2021-09-10

Location: Guadalupe Island

Weather: Clear Sky, Light Breeze and SE Swell (1-2ft)

It’s a beautiful day with sunny skies with just a few clouds. There are zero boats around, the island is just for us.

This morning we were cutting tuna and the great white sharks came around already. The guests started to get in the water around 6:45, shark action has been pretty steady all morning, some of the guests came out saying they saw five sharks at the same time.

Last night when we were putting the cages in the water a turtle came by and checked out the boat, before we dropped anchor a pod of dolphins came playing with the bow waves, and just before I came up to write about our trip we had a bait ball with the yellowfin tunas hunting on the little ones. So yes, we are having a good time.

Water Temperature: 71°F

Visibility: 80ft+
