Captain’s Noon Report – Gallant Lady – 2021-09-18

Location: Las Animas

Weather: Clear Sky, S Light Wind (5kts), and Calm Sea.

Yesterday we had 4 nice dives at Punta Arenas and Punta Perico.

Around 2300hrs we departed La Ventana and headed north to Las Animas. The ride was smooth and we anchored at 0700 this morning. Two dives are done so far, both very good, with guests enjoying the topography and the playful sea lions.

The plan for tonight is a short run to the south end of Isla San Francisco to anchor for the night and dive to San Francisquito and the area tomorrow. The day after that will be Isla Espiritu Santo.

Guests and crew doing well.

Visibility: 80ft

Water temperature: 82°F
