Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2021-10-12

Location: Guadalupe Island

Weather: Clear Skies, Light NE Winds (14-16kts), and Calm Seas

Yesterday we lift cages early by the weather conditions, the guests really took this very well, we have a very nice group of people, no complaints at all. Shark ID yesterday and they could identify Sad Face and Paul Walker. Today we moved between NUS and VORTEX but was the same swell so we set the cages on an open surface, for submersibles we will wait a little bit more.

A quiet morning with 3 different sharks circling the bait but they disappear frequently.

Visibility: 100ft+

Water temperature: 68°F
